CHENILLÉ-CHANGÉ

France > Pays de la Loire > Maine-et-Loire > 49220 > Chenillé-Champteussé > Chenillé-Changé

Nestled in the hollow of the hillside and bordered by the Mayenne River, Chenillé-Changé is a charming village typical of the blue Anjou region. The slate blends naturally with the vegetation and the river for the pleasure of the visitors.

Chenillé-Changé offers a real postcard landscape, especially from the right bank of the Mayenne, near the lock house. The visitor will have a clear view of the village. Discover the village and observe the Moulin Bouin, a real water mill, or the Saint-Pierre church, built in the 11th century and rebuilt in the 17th century. Today, the village is the starting point for cruises aboard the tour boat Hirondelle or for renting boats with Canalous. Since 2016, Chenillé-Changé and Champteussé-sur-Baconne have become a single municipality: Chenillé-Champteussé.
