Église Sainte Marthe

Saint Martha Church is entirely devoted to the Saint who managed to overcome the mythical Tarasque. The upper church is one of the most beautiful Gothic sanctuaries in Provence. It houses paintings by Parrocel and Vien and important works from convents, such as the Triptych of Saint John, Saint Roch and Saint Laurent. The church is also home to a recumbent marble statue of the Saint dating from 1653 and 15th century organs. The crypt, 3 m below ground, precedes the Christian era. The organs are listed as national Historic Monuments.
