Circuit Les Migrateurs

Leaving from the Villeneuve-en-Retz Tourist Office, discover the landscapes of the Marais Breton Vendéen, migratory birds, salt production by salt workers, agriculture and hydraulic management of the marsh. In this protected natural area classified as "Natura 2000", take the path that runs alongside the Salines Neuves and you'll enter a preserved zone where nature has kept its rights. Here, birds come and go to the rhythm of the tides and the flora reinvents itself with the seasons. This hike is easily accessible all year round on foot or by bike, except during periods of heavy rain. Bring walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, binoculars and a camera.
