The Ideal Mill

The "Ideal Mill" built in 1898. The flour mill, an authentic masterpiece of the beginnings of reinforced concrete, marks the local establishment of François Hennebique (name of the engineer, inventor of reinforced concrete construction). This warehouse for flours downstream of the Saint-Georges bridge is made up of buildings made of shale rubble and a tower.
