Built in 1655 by Olivier du Bois Chevalier, this castle is remarkable for its architecture.
The site can be visited from July 4 to August 15, every day from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm Guided tour of the interior and exterior It is a beautiful example of 17th century architecture, well highlighted by a large pond, moats and a wood and garden surrounding. In 1793, it served as an asylum for the royalists of the Vendée and particularly for General Charette who gave receptions in the reception room.
