A major element of the local industrial heritage!

The site has been undergoing rehabilitation since 1994 thanks to the work of enthusiasts. Today property of Bretagne Porte de Loire, the mines of Brutz represent a major element of the local mining industrial heritage. The community of communes invites you to discover the local mining history, the life of the miners and the workers' housing estates. The Babcock & Wilcox boiler, classified as a historical monument, is a remarkable element of the site of which there are only two examples left in France.
