PLAN D'EAU DU CHÊNE - OUDON

The Oudon lake is the ideal place for swimming, walking or fishing. This small pond offers nice walking paths and a friendly swimming place. In a quiet environment, you will have at your disposal shaded picnic tables and playgrounds for children. You will find, on this site, all the facilities to share a pleasant moment with family or friends (sanitary facilities, secure area, benches to rest, supervised swimming area, a petanque ground...). Perfect for walks with friends or family, a 1.5km footpath runs alongside the lake in a green and relaxing setting. The whole family can meet here, the promise of beautiful memories. The lake is open all year round. However, the swimming area is supervised from July 1st to August 31st each year (Tuesday to Sunday inclusive from 2pm to 7pm) by lifeguards. Outside this period, swimming is prohibited. In all cases, young children are under the responsibility of their parents. The Oudon lake is accessible to fishermen: there is a good population of pike, pike-perch, perch, carp, rotengles... An access and a parking lot for handicapped fishermen allow easy access to the pontoon specially designed for them. Fishing cards can be purchased from the Ablette Oudonnaise at the Carrefour Express in Oudon (150 rue de la Loire) or at the Tourist Office in Oudon (11 rue du Pont-Levis). Some practical information : - The surveillance of the swimming area is provided from 1 July to 31 August each year (Tuesday to Sunday inclusive from 14h to 19h) - Dogs on a leash are allowed on the whole site. - The car park on the chemin du Rio offers a large number of parking spaces, including a shaded area. For cyclists, there is a bicycle parking area at the entrance to the lake where you can enjoy a well-deserved break in peace and quiet. In Oudon, at the roundabout in front of the church, go towards the bridge, then immediately left onto Rue de la Loire. The coolness awaits you at the end of the street.
