On the banks of the Sèvre Nantaise, discover an Italian-inspired architecture in an exceptional park. Reservation required.
It is in the imagination of François-Frédéric Lemot, that this magnificent setting was born. In the heart of the Garenne woods, he had a Tuscan-style house and a neoclassical villa built. In the middle of the 13-hectare park, ornamental structures (statues, grotto, column, tomb...) punctuate the walk. Free access to the park and exhibitions. Guided tours and workshops are not free. The park is open all year round. Visit maps are available at the reception-shop for a better understanding of the site In the gardener's house, a scenographic tour allows you to discover the different stages of construction of the estate over the centuries. From February to December, heritage mediators accompany you on an in-depth visit of the site and its factories During the school holidays, family workshops allow parents and children to develop their creativity and arouse their curiosity! During the summer, the Garenne Lemot estate offers a varied and free cultural programme: temporary exhibitions, live shows: circus, music, dance... The park is open every day from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
