Today flowered and renovated, the "lavoir du bas" bears witness to the life of yesteryear when it was called "le doué du bourg" (the gifted of the village).
Le lavoir du bas-bourg (1892, renovated 1999): the municipal wash-house was one of the 6 wash-houses that surrounded the village. The square basin is surrounded by a narrow work surface sloping towards the water. The circulation gallery is roughly paved and delimited, towards the outside, by vertical planks. The centre of the basin is left free to receive rainwater.
