ÉGLISE SAINT-PIERRE ET SAINT-PAUL - ARMAILLÉ

France > Pays de la Loire > Maine-et-Loire > 49420 > Armaillé > Place Jean Leray

Less than 10 minutes from the medieval castle of Pouancé, the church of Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul d'Armaillé was rebuilt in the 19th century, in the heart of the town centre overlooking the village and the river Verzée.

The Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul church in Armaillé was rebuilt in the 19th century. Entirely in neo-Gothic style, it houses two iron hearts containing the hearts of François Le Chat and his wife. A 17th century tombstone can also be seen here. The crypt is open upon request.
