At Pont Dom Guérin, cross the road into a hamlet lined with characterful residences. At the end of the village, a path leads to the Hermitage chapel. Initially, this was a very important control point for the salt trade (faux-saulniers). On the hillside, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the valleys and the bocage. You can admire the meadows and fields of crops, surrounded by hedgerows of oak, chestnut and beech. These hedges form a green corridor in a landscape shaped and preserved by man. The ponds of Chaussée Neuve can be admired without leaving the wooden walkways of this wetland, which helps to preserve biodiversity.
