PANORAMA SUR LA LOIRE LE CHAMPALUD

Perfect break on the Loire à Vélo route. Perched on a rocky spur 70 meters above the Loire, the Champalud garden offers a spectacular panorama on the Loire and the Ile Neuve. Classified since 1935, the panorama invites you to travel with its 180 degree view. From the Loire villages to the steep hillsides, passing by its exceptional flora and fauna, the view is exceptional and you will be amazed by its beauty. At each season or time of the day, you will be seduced! Our advice is to come at the first or last light of the sun for a magical moment and admire the golden reflections of the sun on the Loire. Located in a green and flowery setting, the site is ideal for picnics with games for children, toilets, an outdoor swimming pool, a camping car area and the Tourist Office. It offers to the walkers the possibility of continuing its way by taking the tunnel which passes under the road D751 to join, via the legendary Coulée de la Luce, the picturesque village of Patache. Champalud is also the starting point of the "Tales & Legends" and "Medieval Route" walks which criss-cross Champtoceaux.
