LES VERGERS DE LA PETITE MOINIE

Welcome to the Vergers de la Petitie Moinie in Saint-Rémy-en-Mauges ! Sylvie and Jean-Christophe Clavreul took over the farm in 2018 with two golden rules: - conservation of the terroir - the transmission of the cultural know-how of the former owners of the farm The orchard works with "integrated pest management" (treatment only when necessary and not on the fruit), it covers 5 hectares and has nearly 25 varieties, including a dozen old varieties such as the Patte de Loup or Boskoop. Thanks to weekly openings of the farm, on Wednesdays and Fridays in winter, the public can eat locally and buy apples (different varieties) and apple juice (pure pressed apple juice which is pasteurized and bottled at the farm). You can also find them on the market of Cholet on Saturday and Ancenis on Thursday morning. Every year, the Vergers de la Petite Moinie open their doors to the general public as part of the operation "C'est quoi ton entreprise ?", proposed by Ôsez Mauges in October.
