Interpretation trail around the Courossé circuit, with an exceptional view of the river and the Evre valley. Seven interpretation panels help the visit.

-PARTIALLY CLOSED- A classified natural site since 1995, the cirque of Courossé offers very steep landscapes on the banks of the Evre. The rock, constituted by outcrops of micaschists, overhangs the sinuous river of the Evre of more than 60 meters height. A sumptuous panoramic view on the Mauges is the key to a beautiful walk. From the parking lot, the alley of the castle of the Baronnière leads you quickly to the panorama. Various points of interest are on the menu of this very popular walk: the island with the causeway over the river, the old milling village, the tree-lined path at the top of the rock and the view of the Pope's farm which was given to Pope Leo XIII at the end of the 19th century. 7 interpretive panels line the pathway with the aim of informing visitors about different themes. !!!! The Way of the Cross and the cave are not accessible at the moment. The panorama and the miller's village are still accessible by the paths A picnic area is at your disposal to invite you to eat in this charming natural setting.
