The church of Saint Martin de Gorron was rebuilt from 1868 to 1874 according to the plans of Monsignor Théberge, an architect in Avranches. Note among others the altarpiece represents the stoning of Saint-Etienne.
The church of Saint Martin de Gorron was rebuilt from 1868 to 1874 according to the plans of Monsignor Théberge, an architect in Avranches. Consecrated on 12 July 1877, the neo-Romanesque style building has a dark and imposing interior due to its low sides. Amongst other things, the altarpiece represents the stoning of Saint-Etienne. Free visit every day 9am-7pm.
