Cattle farm located in Nyoiseau

Gaëtan Audouin took over the Le Tertre farm in NYOISEAU in 2018 after completing a sponsorship internship on this farm. In addition to the Limousin cattle herd and the direct sales activity already present, he installed a small flock of Vendée and Charollais ewes to produce meat. Today, the strategy is oriented towards more sustainable working techniques that respect the environment and the animals: - All the meslin and fodder produced on the farm is consumed by the herds - Introduction of the hornless gene to eliminate dehorning of young cattle - Crossbreeding of sheep with hardy breeds in order to extend the periods outside the building and to make the most of the pasture - Agriculture without chemical fertilizers or pesticides - Sale at the farm - Products: Lamb, beef, meat products - Collaboration with the CIVAM network Transformation of the products I offer for sale packages of beef (veal, beef) 5 and 10 kg, lamb (half-lamb 8-10kg depending on individuals). As well as retail: steaks, sausages, paupiettes.. I also offer my production in a range of jars, which are processed in Chemillé (Maine et Loire) by our partner, the artisanal creator and preserver. Distribution The sale is done in a producer's shop (Jeunes pousses Pouancé) or at the farm (on reservation). I am also present on the farmers' market of Noyant la Gravoyère.
