The church of Saint-Denis is labelled "Eglise accueillante en Anjou" and is built on the site of an 11th century building. It is located in Candé, in the heart of blue Anjou and 15 km from Ancenis.
Sainte-Denis Church occupies the site of the old parish building built in the 11th century. It was first rebuilt in the 17th century. The general condition of the building had deteriorated considerably and it had to be rebuilt in the 19th century. Today, the church of Saint-Denis de Candé is labelled "Eglise accueillante en Anjou".
