Located on the ground floor of the town hall of St Laurent du Mottay, this room was used in the Middle Ages by the agents of the king or a lord to exercise financial, judicial, administrative and military powers.
In this magnificent building occupied by the town hall, there is a 90m² room on the ground floor, classified as a Historic Monument. Amongst other things, you can admire a vast chimney that half fills the wall towards the south, according to the description of Célestin Port, departmental archivist, who visited this place in 1877 Decorated with ten sculpted medallions that seem to have the character of an antique imitation, this mantel is adorned in its center with a fresco representing the Annunciation
