ÉGLISE SAINT-JACQUES

The church was built in the 11th century with a single nave. It was plundered during the Wars of Religion and burnt down during the Wars of Vendée. On the walls that remained standing, the present nave, unique at the time, was rebuilt. Then, successively, in 1844 and 1863, both sides The three 18th century altarpieces, classified as Historic Monuments, were erected on the initiative and at the expense of the priest Nicolas Boussicault.
