ARBORETUM DES CHÊNES DU MONDE

Starting point of the hiking trail "Around the Oaks" (9.7 km) to which it gives its name, the oak arboretum is a reminder of the Bastard Nursery which, until the beginning of 2010, made the small town of Saint Philbert en Mauges famous. The owner of the nursery had built up an internationally recognized collection of more than 150 oak trees and provided the most beautiful gardens in the world. Specimens from different countries of the northern hemisphere are planted here, with an explanatory panel in front of each water to discover its characteristics. Have a nice ride!
