DOMAINE HAUTE PERCHE

France > Pays de la Loire > Maine-et-Loire > 49610 > Saint-Melaine-sur-Aubance > 60 Chemin de Haute Perche

Family estate created in 1966. It is located in St-Melaine-sur-Aubance near ANGERS.

Located in the heart of the Loire Valley, near Angers, the Domaine Haute Perche benefits from an exceptional geographical situation to produce the best nectars. In 2019, a new owner, passionate about the vine, took over the reins of the estate, keeping the same credo as the founders and surrounded by the same team. He undertakes to invest in the domain, both in material and human terms, in order to give a new impetus and thus adapt to the changes that the current wine world is experiencing. Combining traditional know-how and modernity, Domaine Haute Perche produces exceptional wines in the respect of nature since the domain is entirely certified in organic agriculture since 2022 and in biodynamic conversion since 2019 for a Demeter certification. The soils and the vineyard are maintained according to the principles of biodynamics since November 2019, with the application of preparations based on horn dung, plants (horsetail, valerian, nettle, yarrow, ...) and minerals (horn silica, ...) to the rhythm of lunar cycles. The Domaine Haute Perche welcomes visitors from Monday to Saturday for a tour of the vineyards and the cellar, and a wine tasting.
