This charming Romanesque church has been remodelled over the centuries. It is located in Montguillon, at the crossroads of Anjou and Mayenne.
St. Peter's Church was built in the 11th century in Romanesque style. However, it underwent many modifications over the following centuries, notably in 1840 with the rebuilding of the nave panelling and the reconstruction of the bell tower. It was completely restored in 1873-1874. The baptismal font is dated from the 15th century and classified as a Historic Monument. So is the flesh.
