Built in the 19th century and labelled "Welcoming Church in Anjou", the Saint-Aubin church is located near the banks of the Mayenne river in Chambellay.
Built in the 19th century, the church is constructed partly with the materials of the old Romanesque church (11th-12th centuries). The monument is home to fifteen marouflaged paintings by Adelyne Neveux, listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historical Monuments, representing scenes from the Old and New Testament It is for this reason - but also for its extended opening hours - that the church is labelled "Welcoming Church in Anjou" Guided tour for groups by appointment only.
