The art and history museum of Château-Gontier is located in a beautiful building of character. It contains collections of antique marbles and many paintings by masters.
This former mansion transformed into a museum-library since 1868 houses a remarkable artistic ensemble: numerous paintings by French, Italian and Dutch masters from the 15th to the 19th centuries. A room is also devoted to the works of Pierre Logé, a contemporary art enthusiast, who donated a collection of more than 200 paintings, sculptures and animal bronzes. Free and uninhibited visit.
