The Château de la Tuffière, one of the many late 19th century castles in the region, has a few original features.
Château de la Tuffière is made of Tuffeau and brick and was designed by Richard Delalande in 1860 It is rich in its exterior decoration: the play of materials and colours (unbleached tufa stone, orange brick, blue slate), the variety and quantity of sculpted decorations, and the originality of its curious dormer windows known as "tabernacle" windows.
