DOMAINE DES HARDIÈRES

Passionate about wine, in 1995 my wife and I took over a hectare of vines that had belonged to the family for several generations. Victims of our success, in 2002 we took over 2 hectares on the heights of St Aubin de Luigné. The vineyard now has 3ha. Our average production is around 10 000 bottles spread over the main appellations of the Loire Valley. Rosé de Loire, Cabernet d'Anjou, Anjou red, Anjou white, Coteaux du layon and since this year we have launched an effervescent in ancestral method. Our distribution circuit is oriented towards a clientele of private individuals who are passionate about our products and our history. Our motto: "to produce little but good" Today we are orienting our production towards top-of-the-range reds with an ageing period of 12 to 18 months in fairly recent oak barrels. We also pay particular attention to our Anjou white aged in barrels.
