To slip into the wine memory of this small city of character that is Saint Denis d'Anjou, let us guide you through the streets, through a presentation of precious grape varieties that we will make you discover Saint-Denis-d'Anjou, was re-planted with 80 ares of vines in 1998, after having been ravaged by Phylloxera in the 19th century! It was important for the commune to see the reappearance of this vineyard which has been so much a part of its history... At the end of this walk, I will invite you to discover this replanted vineyard at the Morinière ponds (a few steps from here) and to open a curious eye on the old winegrowers' huts, also called "Pavillons de vigne" (vineyard pavilions) Start your walk now in front of the Tourist Office, on the church square!
