The river La Jouanne crosses the Coëvrons from North to East.
The river La Jouanne has its source at Bais in the north of the Mayenne, grows up several streams, and waters the meadows south of the village of Brée in particular. The latter are recognised as a Zone of Ecological Faunistic and Floristic Interest, where plants called "fritillaries" or "wild tulips" bloom in spring. Crossing Montsûrs, the Jouanne river receives the stream of Deux-Evailles, its main tributary, and then meanders between the valleys of Saint-Cénéré.
