GÎTE LA HAUTE CORMERIE

La Haute Cormerie is a family affair. Michel Plagne, the father of the current owners, was an architecture enthusiast and a building craftsman when he created the three guest rooms in this beautiful tufa stone building shortly before his retirement. Recently deceased, we are two brother and sister attached to this family house which evolved into a gite, in the spirit of welcome and sharing of our father. This XVIIIth century gite has four bedrooms with private bathroom and toilet, and can accommodate up to 12 people. Near the hillside of Bessé, on the banks of the Loire, the gîte offers you on the first floor: a common living room equipped with an open fireplace, television, with a recently renovated kitchen, open to the living room and fully equipped as well as toilets. The house has 4 independent bedrooms with private shower room and toilets, each with a different authenticity. - On the first floor : 1 bedroom with independent entrance from the terrace with 1 bed of 140 - On the first floor: 1 large room of 45m² for 2 to 5 people, with 5 beds of 90cm (which can be brought together), the two other rooms are served by an outside staircase: 1 room with 1 bed of 140cm, 1 room with 1 bed of 140 and 1 pull-out bed (2 beds of 90 which can be used as additional sleeping). Enjoy your meals, which you can enjoy either inside, around the fireplace, under the pergola or in the garden. Relax in our wooded garden and let yourself be lulled by the birds singing under the parasol. You will have at your disposal, in order to perfect your stay 8 bikes (4 mountain bikes for men, 3 mountain bikes for children and 1 city bike for women, 1 mountain bike for women), barbecue. Take advantage of the many leisure activities nearby. Within a radius of 5 km : le Thoureil with its church, the houses of the quays, the abbey of St Maur de Glanfeuil, the water mill of Sarré, the dolmen of la Bajoulière, the troglodytic houses of La Roche, les Rosiers-sur-Loire : the church and its bell tower and the windmill of Basses Terres.
