The Lords of the Middle Ages

The Manoir de la Cour is a medieval building built in the 13th century by the canons of the cathedral chapter of Le Mans. It was the administrative, economic and social headquarters of the seigneury of Asnières. Classified as a historical monument, it is one of the rare examples of a well-preserved civil building from this period. In the heart of the small town of character of Asnières-sur-Vègre, the Manor, recently restored, offers during the visit a permanent exhibition on the 700 years of history of the place and more broadly, on daily life in the Middle Ages. Through a playful and interactive environment (models to handle, various games, smells to smell, giant game of goose), the Manoir de la Cour is a great educational tool to discover History.
