The 38-hectare estate is atypical for the Anjou and Anjou-Villages appellation. Located between Angers and Saumur on a clay-limestone terroir ideal for prestige cuvées, Bois Mozé is a jewel. Since 2004, Mathilde Giraudet has been at the helm of the estate with a real desire to work the vines sustainably and responsibly, placing nature and biodiversity at the heart of her approach. Bois Mozé was awarded the organic viticulture label in October 2017. Since the spring of 2020, we've been replanting the hedgerows, installing nesting boxes in the vineyard, and in winter we're ecopatting. Bois Mozé offers all the colors of the appellation: Anjou blanc, Anjou rouge, Cabernet d'Anjou, Rosé de Loire, Anjou-Villages, Crémant de Loire and Coteaux de l'Aubance; atypical wines (no sulfites, orange wines, 100% Grolleau). We also offer a range of alcohol-free wines, with a 100% Pinot Noir sparkling grape juice and a 100% Chenin still grape juice. Come and meet us on the estate: for a simple tasting near our barrel cellar, or for a guided tour, we'll be delighted to welcome you to this place full of history! We hold two Portes Ouvertes a year: one in Spring (last weekend in April) to discover new vintages, and one in Winter (December) to prepare for the festive season. All year round, we offer activities at the estate! Opening hours : Summer season (Easter to mid-September) Monday to Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. non-stop. Winter season (mid-September to Easter) Monday to Saturday* 10am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 6pm. * estate open by appointment only in January and February. Come and discover the history of the Lords of Bois Mozé through a cooperative game, in which you'll investigate to discover the legitimate heir to the estate.
