CHÂTEAU DE MONTSOREAU, MUSÉE D'ART CONTEMPORAIN

Created in April 2016 at the initiative of French contemporary art collector Philippe Méaille, the Château de Montsoreau-Musée d'art contemporain is a radical, committed, lively place, located two hours from Paris, in the Unesco World Heritage Loire Valley Housed in a Loire Valley castle, its architecture, collection and exhibition spaces are outstanding and place it among the international institutions dedicated to contemporary art. Its permanent collection, presented on three levels (2500m2 of exhibition space) is the most important collection of works by Art & Language, the artists' collective at the origin of Conceptual Art. The program of the Château de Montsoreau-Musée d'art contemporain reflects the creative wealth of today's artists. It is organized around temporary exhibitions, events, meetings, concerts and performances.
