These meadows, once mowed for cattle bedding, are one of the jewels of the natural heritage of the Sarthe region where beautiful populations of rare and protected species are established.
This area is mainly made up of two watersheds at their confluence, along which peaty meadows are established, sheltering flora and fauna of great heritage interest. Numerous protected species are present, such as the Summer Spiranthem, the Wetland Blue, the Marsh Orchid, and the Broad-leaved Cottongrass This site, made up of very sensitive natural environments, can be visited during events or voluntary workcamps.
