The Esprit Laque gallery offers a selection of works by the main contemporary French lacquerers, as well as paintings, sculptures and crafts. The works are exhibited in a former stable that has been tastefully restored.
The "Esprit-laque" gallery offers a selection of contemporary works by the main French lacquerers, as well as painters, sculptors and creations from different branches of the arts (metal, glass and ceramics). Installed since 2017 in Saumur, the gallery participates in the Off-Cheval Festival, in the Heritage Days and in the European Crafts Days. Each semester a new exhibition highlights a contemporary artist from the decorative arts or fine arts. The gallery is part of a larger project of sensory discoveries and is regularly animated by other events: poetry readings, concerts, tastings..
