Come for a walk and discover the heritage of the towns of Callian and Castelnau-d'Anglès. A fun tour for the whole family to do at your own pace in the form of a game. Information sheet available at the tourist office or for download.

Road-book The walk is done in two stages. First in the village of Callian, then in the village of Castelnau d'Anglès 4 km away. Start the walk in the car park opposite the Callian town hall. Look for the small IGN metal plate on the low wall on the right that supports the railing, which gives the altitude of this place (the general levelling allows you to know the altitude, the height of a building in relation to the sea level.) (1) . Go under the fortified gate. Continue to the end and turn right towards the church. Stop in front of the statue of the Virgin (2) Follow the road alongside the church and then, at the crossroads with the D35, follow the signs for Bassoues. At the next crossroads, approach the war memorial opposite (3) . Go back to the road and go in front of the cement cross (4) Continue to the car park (direction Callian). Take the car back to the village of Castelnau-d'Anglès. Park in front of the fortified gate surmounted by a bell tower. Locate the first half-timbered house (5) on the right. A little further on, on the left, stop in front of the half-timbered brick house (6) . At the end of the street, turn around and notice on the left, at the corner of the wall, a statuette (7) . Continue in the initial direction and at the crossroads, turn left onto the departmental road. At the next crossroads, towards the cemetery, go to the war memorial (8) . End of the walk
