VILLAGE DE SAINT-PUY

France > Occitanie > Gers > 32310 > Saint-Puy > Village

Saint-Puy, nestled in the heart of the South-West in the Gers, offers a rather atypical face of a Gascon village composed of three influences: sauveté, bastide and castelnau.

Explore and let yourself be charmed by the Gascon village of Saint Puy, nestled in the heart of the countryside in the Gers. Dominated by the ‘Castelnau’ (castle in Occitan), the village of Saint Puy was built around the 17th century church. This church, a religious property consecrated to the Virgin, preserves many medieval vestiges and has undergone several modifications during its history, notably in the 19th century. Do not miss the arcades and the bastide of the village. If you are fond of discoveries, visit the castle of Montluc, cradle of a Gascon aperitif: the Pousse-Rapière. Take the ‘Key to the fields’ with your family and stroll the footpaths, explore 15 sites for a sensitive and playful discovery of our region. In Saint-Puy, sit at the table with our Musketeers. Through different exploration tools (travel notebook, bag, discovery trunk), open your eyes, shape your senses, prick up your ears and experience the various Gascony landscape that can be seen, heard, tasted and felt... All the tools will be handed out in the different Tourist Offices of the Ténarèze region. (Rental of the explorer’s bag 5€).
