Indeed, it was on this former wine estate that the former owners struggled to obtain the Appellation d?Origine Contrôlée in 1937. Adrien, passionate about the estate and the winegrowers who lived there, is a charming host who will tell you all about the history of the place. The chambre d'hôte is accessed independently from the garden. This authentic room, which has retained its terracotta floor tiles and exposed beams, can accommodate up to two people. It features a Louis XV-style double bed with cross-beam scrolls, a large wardrobe in the same style and a variety of small pieces of furniture, including a tiered writing desk and a large farmhouse saddle that doubles as a dining area. A TV, fridge, kettle and WIFI connection are provided. Breakfast is included. A large bathroom with Art Deco features is en suite. Towels and bed linen are provided.
