LE SENTIER DES 2 LACS

1. Departure from the leisure centre of the Gimone Lake. From the bottom of the car park, reach the lake and go left along it. At the end of the lake, take the wooden footbridge and continue on the path which goes up. Join the D228. 2. Cross it and go straight on until you reach a tarmac road. Turn left and continue for 500m. 3. At the first house, turn right onto a dirt road that goes downhill. Pass the brook of Lussan and go up. Join a small road. 4. Continue straight ahead. Pass the ford of the Barbé stream and go up in the wood. Join a fork in the road. Variant "Return to St Blancard": turn left. 5. Turn right and continue in the woods (follow the signs carefully). Pass the ford of the brook of the wood and continue until the main path of the wood. 6. Go straight on to the left. Leave the wood (barrier). Continue on a grassy path then from the Cap de Bosc farm on a road and join the D283. 7. Turn right. At the fork in the road, continue to the left towards Aussos. 250m later, turn left onto a dirt track and follow it straight ahead. Pass the fence and follow it along the edge of the wood until you reach a wooden gate. 8. Go through it and continue on the path which goes down into the wood. Join a small tarmac road and a car park. Turn right for 150m. 9. In the bend, turn left onto the dirt track. Follow it to the dike keeping the lake on your left. Cross over the dam and reach the car park.
