The 17th Rencontres Photo de Castelfranc takes place from July 14 to 23. You'll be able to discover a new exhibition by humanist photographer REZA, entitled "Une Terre, Une Famille", on an outdoor tour of the village. Burundi, Camargue, Viet-Nâm, Burkina Faso, Egypt or Cambodia: REZA shows a harsh and violent daily life, but also tenderness and sometimes humor. He will be on hand on the opening day and for a guided tour on Saturday July 15 at 6pm to explain the context in which the most emblematic photos were taken. Reza is the author of some thirty photographic works, and of numerous publications and exhibitions around the world over several decades. He has been awarded the Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite medal. In the Castelfranc village hall, the "Regards depuis les Balcons du Lot" exhibition brings together a selection of photos taken during photography workshops at the Prayssac EHPAD. Residents were able to learn about photography and work on themes such as their living environment, nature and portraits. Their photographs are the subject of this exhibition, which takes its place alongside Reza's work on the subject of family and transmission.
Opening: July 14 at 18:30 in front of the town hall of Castelfranc, in the presence of Reza (followed by a meal-concert under the hall) Walk commented by Reza: Saturday, July 15 at 6:00 pm from the town hall of Castelfranc
