Traditional activity, the fish farming in Brenne is practised since the Middle Ages and contributes to the valorization of this territory through its actors implied in a complete die from the birth of the alevins until the transformed product. The fishing of the ponds in Brenne, unavoidable stage of the piscicultural production, is one of the highlights of the year. It usually starts in October and ends in February. Through a commented visit, come and discover it during a fishing trip with producers who exceptionally welcome you on their ponds. The visit will end with a tasting on the pavement of products made from pond fish. The visit is supervised by the Aquaculture Federation of the Centre region in partnership with COPE.
