Between Selles-sur-Cher and Saint-Aignan, the town of Châtillon-sur-Cher will amaze you with the diversity of its landscapes and its architectural or gastronomic heritage. A village to be discovered about fifteen kilometres from the ZooParc de Beauval.
At the crossroads of three geographical regions, Touraine, Berry and Sologne, Châtillon-sur-Cher can be discovered on foot along the various watercourses that cross the commune. The circuit of the canal bridge will allow you to appreciate these landscapes. From the beginning of the route you will walk along the Berry canal and the Cher before arriving not far from the canal bridge, an emblematic heritage and tourist site of Châtillon-sur-Cher. You will then cross the woods that surround the town before returning to the village where you can discover the church of Saint-Blaise. To extend your hike pleasantly, do not hesitate to taste the local products: AOC Touraine or Crémant de Loire wines, and goat's cheeses!
