The BOMD is the vintage and 70?s BMX event in Montdoumerc. After a first edition which was a great success with a new show and more than 1 600 spectators. The second edition promises to be even more crazy and original. In a field of 5 hectares, a track as in California of 400 m downhill, where more than 250 competitors from all over Europe will compete in wild runs. A show during 3 days from Friday evening and the freestyle show, on Saturday the bike runs, and on Sunday the sidecar runs and kids plus jumping competition. A totally revival, "goodlife", family weekend, where the decoration of the site and the animations will take us back to the 70's, with colorful outfits, crazy contests, runs by BMX categories and vintage parties. We expect more than 3,000 visitors over the weekend and access to the site is 100% free. Parking, 5 foodtrucks, a refreshment stand, exhibitors, a children's area with a minikids track (loan of 4 bikes by the organization) and an inflatable structure.
-On a track of 500 m, traced in a magnificent field in Montdoumerc, pilots on old velocross and BMX, will dash all day with runs and various spectacular contests. -Show animated by 2 professional speakers, music and playlist 70?s. -Contest for the best 70?s look (Miss & Mister 70?s), the best bike, the best team, the best cup. -Exchange/sale of old bikes. -Children's area, games, and BMX initiation with loan of bikes and equipment on an adapted track. -Market crafts and local producers. -Exhibitors area -Exhibition of old BMX (including the presence of CORSICA BMX MUSEUM) -Gourmet meal evening at 8:30 pm, prize giving, 70's theme costume ball (organized by the town hall and associations of Montdoumerc) -Catering : Foodtrucks and refreshment stands
