François Morel began his career as an actor with Jérôme Deschamps and Macha Makeïeff, playing Monsieur Morel in Les Deschiens for seven years. Since then, he has pursued a career as a director and actor for theater and film, as well as a singer and lyricist. His theater credits include work with Michel Cerda, Tilly, Jean-Michel Ribes, Anne Bourgeois and Catherine Hiegel. His film credits include work with Lucas Belvaux, Tonie Marschall, Guy Jacques, Étienne Chatiliez, Laurent Tirard, Pascal Rabaté, Noémie Lvovsky? For the past 17 years, he has been creating his own shows: Bien des choses with Olivier Saladin, Collection Particulière directed by Jean-Michel Ribes, Instants Critiques with Olivier Saladin, Olivier Broche and Lucrèce Sassella, La fin du monde est pour dimanche directed by Benjamin Guillard, Hyacinthe et Rose, the concerts Le Soir des lions and La Vie (working title) directed by Juliette, J?ai des Doutes, based on texts by Raymond Devos. In November 21, he created his latest show, Tous les marins sont des chanteurs, with Gérard Mordillat, Romain Lemire, Antoine Sahler, Amos Mah and Muriel Gastebois. The album La Vie titre provisoire won the Grand Prix de l'Académie Charles Cros in 2017.
