The Cuzals Ecomuseum invites you to a theme day on the history of animal and plant fibers.
August 15 to 18, 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m Tuesday August 15th Demonstration: Agnès Genot from La Belle Estive: wool felting demonstration Wednesday, August 16th Demonstration: dyeing wool with wild or cultivated plants with Françoise Dupéty from Toisons de Couleurs 2 to 3:30 pm and 4 to 5:30 pm: Family workshop on "Appren?tissage" (learning to weave) on the galloon loom with an eco-museum mediator. Discover "nomadic" weaving using a tool known since the Middle Ages: the galon comb. Let your creativity flow! Ages 10 and up Limited to 8 participants (+ accompanying adults for children) Registration required Friday August 18th Demonstration of skills: making cattails for spinning wool with Nicolas Dettwiller, basket maker And many other activities offered each day by the mediators of the Ecomusée de Cuzals
