The Cher valley is made up of grasslands, alluvial woodlands and dry alluvial grasslands. These are the last lawns of this type, in a preserved state of conservation on this part of the Cher valley.
These characteristics make it both a place of leisure and discovery. The natural environments and the flora that can be found there give it an exceptional character, which is also recognised on a European scale within the Natura 2000 site "Côteaux, bois et marais calcaires de la Champagne berrichonne" (limestone coasts, woods and marshes of Champagne berrichonne). A stroll to be done on your own or during the outings organised by the Conservatoire des Espaces Naturels de La Région Centre Val de Loire.
