Lac des Salhiens (6ha), Lac Saint-Andéol (11ha), Lac de Born (5ha), Lac de Souveyrols (1.6ha) These four jewels of the Aubrac plateau, situated at an average altitude of 1250m, are natural lakes of volcanic origin. Relatively close to each other, and all located on the Bès catchment area, they have the same characteristics: strongly tinted waters, regularly cut banks without trees but difficult to follow in places because of the spongy and moving nature of the terrain. The fish population is itself identical from one lake to another and consists of fario and rainbow trout, pike, perch, chub and minnows. The four lakes are classified as first category.
