LA MAISON D'EUSABIE

The village of Les Vignes nestles in the hollow of the Tarn gorges in a place so sunny that vines and cherry trees used to grow there and the feet of wild lavender still embalm the paths. The Tarn brings in summer the freshness of its waters where the cliffs overlooking the valley are reflected. The dike which bars the river offers swimmers a small lake for swimming but also a natural diving board which makes children happy on summer afternoons. It is also a starting point for hikes and canoe trips. The house bears the name of its last permanent occupant in the 1930s We pulled it out of a long period of neglect in 2009 by renovating it, trying to keep its character while providing all modern comforts. In the village you will find among other things a grocery store, bread depot and several bars and restaurants.
