Set off to conquer the Gaschney, a mountain resort at the foot of the Hohneck, the mythical summit of the Vosges massif.

From the Munster sports complex, overlook the town and then the lower part of the village of Stosswihr before reaching the Col du Sattel, halfway up the climb. The second part of the ascent remains in the forest, but offers fine views of the Vosges crests, including La Schlucht and the Frankenthal cirque. The Gaschney station is the high point of the tour. If you wish, you can continue on to the Auberge du Schiessroth for an exceptional viewpoint, or join the lake of the same name. On the way back, you first pass through Mohrenloch, a short climb up the access road to the resort, before continuing downhill to Sattel. This is the last hurdle before the pass, and the final descent to Munster through the Moenchberg district. Take on the Gaschney, a mountain resort at the foot of the Hohneck, a mythical peak in the Vosges mountains. You'll discover the heights of Munster, the forests around the Sattel and its remnants of the 1st World War, and finally the riches of the summits of the Munster valley.
