Built by the Club Vosgien in 1890. Highest point of the Northern Vosges at 581m.
Located at the top of the highest point of the Northern Vosges, at 581m altitude. The tower was built between 1889 and 1890 by the Club Vosgien and rises 25m above the ground. It offers a panoramic view of the Vosges du Nord massif, the Black Forest, the nearby Palatinate and, on a clear day, you can even see Strasbourg Cathedral. Starting point for many hiking tours. A little further down, at the Col de la Liese, the Club Vosgien chalet opens its doors to you every Sunday and public holidays: refreshment bar and snacks are available.
