Humbrecht-Trapp was founded in 1949, but the Humbrecht family has been winemakers since 1620 from father to son since 1620. Patrick manages the vineyard with his wife and parents. The goal is to produce wine with passion and respect. Patrick strives to put his own stamp on the vineyard, but always with the good advice and experience of his parents.
Humbrecht-Trapp was founded in 1949, but the Humbrecht family has been winemakers from father to son since 1620. Today Patrick Humbrecht is the manager. On a daily basis he manages the vineyard with his wife and parents. The vineyard of 7.5 ha is in conversion to organic farming since 2020, the certification will take effect for the 2023 vintage. The whole farm is also certified HVE (High Environmental Value) since 2019. Patrick's objective is to produce wine with passion and respect. Since he officially joined the estate, he strives to put his own mark on the vineyard, but always with the good advice and experience of his parents. Humbrecht-Trapp offers a wide selection of gastronomic and traditional wines from Alsace.
